How to Dismantle and Deep-Clean NNIO Air Circulators
Share
We’re big on care that keeps things running quietly for years. Below, we show exactly how we dismantle and clean our air circulators. Step by step, with short video clips for each stage.
Compatible models (this guide covers them all)
N1000DCWFR • N1400DCSFR • N1005DCACR • N1800DCACR • N1008AC • WALLIE-300
The layout of clips and screws varies slightly model to model, but the flow is the same: unscrew → fan guard off → blade out → clean → reassemble.
Step 1 - Power down & prep
Before cleaning the air circulator, make sure to disconnect the power plug from the socket and allow the appliance to cool down.
Step 2 - Loosen the screw
Begin by loosening the screw located at the rear of the left side of the guard assembly.
Step 3 - Remove the fan guard and blade
To remove the fan guard and blade, turn the fan guard assembly counter-clockwise to remove it.
Next, loosen the spinner securing the fan blade by turning it clockwise to remove the blade.
Finally, turn the guard lock nut counter-clockwise to detach the back guard assembly.
Step 4 - Rinse or wipe clean
When cleaning the air circulator, use a soft, damp cloth dipped in neutral detergent (or simply wash it in the sink) and finish wiping wth a dry cloth.
For the removal of tough stains, it's recommended to use a neutral detergent designed for dishware to clean.
Avoid using hard brushes to prevent scratches and corrosion. Do not use harsh chemical cleaning agents, such as bleach, for cleaning.
Step 5 - Reassemble
To reassemble the air circulator, simply follow Step 2 & 3 in reverse order.
And you're done!
Care cadence we recommend
Light dusting: Every 2–4 weeks (grill + exterior).
Deep clean (this guide): Every 2–3 months, or sooner if you see visible buildup.
Storage tip: Clean before storing, then cover to keep dust off.
